Dr. Amiri has received his DMD degree from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada and has completed his postgraduate residency program in Prosthodontics at the University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA. Dr. Amiri is a Board Certified Prosthodontist and a fellow of Royal College of Dentist of Canada. He is a surgically-trained prosthodontist with extensive experience in complex surgical and restorative dental treatments.
Dr. Amiri is in full-time private practice, in Vancouver, Canada and teaches at UBC as a clinical assistant professor. He has provided didactic and hands-on courses, lectured in local and national meetings and has mentored study clubs for local general dentists. Dr. Amiri has worked continuously with the RCDC and NDEB of Canada as a board examiner and with the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia as a member of the Inquiry Committee. Dr. Amiri lives in North Vancouver and speaks in English and Farsi.
